Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 June 2026 · Swytch IT Limited

By using Subnetly, you agree to these terms. They're written in plain English — no tricks.

1. About Subnetly

Subnetly is a network planning and IP address management tool provided by Swytch IT Limited, a company registered in New Zealand. The service is available at subnetly.app and app.subnetly.app.

2. Accepting these terms

By accessing or using Subnetly, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the service. These terms apply to all users, including free users and paid licence holders.

3. The free tier

The Subnetly calculator is available free of charge with no account required. You may use the free calculator tools for personal or commercial purposes without restriction.

4. Paid licences

The Subnetly Workspace and Desktop App require a one-time paid licence. When you purchase a licence:

5. Refund policy

We offer a 14-day refund on all paid licences. If Subnetly doesn't work as described, contact us at support@swytchit.co.nz within 14 days of purchase and we will issue a full refund. No questions asked.

6. Acceptable use

You may use Subnetly for any lawful purpose. You may not:

7. Your data

Network planning data you create in Subnetly is stored locally in your browser. We do not claim any ownership over your data. You are responsible for backing up your data — we recommend using the JSON export feature regularly. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling.

8. Intellectual property

Subnetly, including its design, code, and content, is owned by Swytch IT Limited and protected by copyright law. The Subnetly name, logo, and brand are trademarks of Swytch IT Limited.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

Subnetly is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. Network planning decisions should be verified by a qualified network engineer before implementation.

Subnetly is a planning and documentation tool — it does not perform live network scanning, monitoring, or configuration changes. Any network data shown is based solely on what you manually enter.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by New Zealand law, Swytch IT Limited shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of Subnetly, including but not limited to network outages, data loss, or business interruption.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of Subnetly shall not exceed the amount you paid for your licence in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Changes to the service

We may update, modify, or discontinue Subnetly at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes. Paid licence holders will retain access to the version they purchased even if the service is discontinued.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Subnetly after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We will update the "last updated" date when changes are made.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.
